A little snippet of life!

Hi, my name is Megan!
I live in a little coastal mining community in Western Australia, quite remote due to the 126kms of gravel road that changes in condition depending on the time of year, weather and amount of traffic we have had on it. It wasn’t until our 19 day old son was flown out RFDS that the isolation of where we live really hit home! We are nearing our 3rd year of living here, and we love it, though I do love heading home to family and friends just as much in Geraldton, thankfully, it’s only a 4 and a half hour drive!
Our front yard.
I am a mum of soon to be 3! Abby is 4, a little princess, who loves to be girly and wear twirly skirts, tiaras, and ‘clip clop’ shoes, just as much as she loves to be naked and toilet outside under the palm tree in the front yard! (Thankfully, our front yard is fenced, then dirt track, bush and beach, so not much traffic, wheels or feet!). Jacob is nearly 18 months old, full of character, an absolute joy in our lives, he loves pushing things around, whether it be the block trolley, Abby’s pink pram, or a little car, and usually inside one of these things is a dummy or 2 or 3! We are expecting our 3rd baby on 1st January 2012. I am crossing my fingers, toes and legs that the baby arrives a few days late, I definitely do NOT want a Christmas day baby! We haven’t found out the gender of this one, we did with Jakey, not with Abs, and I really loved the anticipation of not knowing what we were having with Abby, and it is the same this time! I am so excited to meet this little bundle! The pregnancy has been quite cruisy this time round, and I am thoroughly enjoying the journey, definitely 3rd time round is much easier (not so sure once it comes along though!).
Jacob, cheeky and super cute!

This blog I hope will help me keep a record of the simple little everyday things we do, the way we are growing and changing, basically just life in general, and to keep family and friends updated on our life. I hope it’s a happy place for everyone to come to keep in touch with us!
